SEEPEX PROGRESSIVE CAVITY PUMPS
- Self-priming, discharge pressures to 10bar, suitable for abrasive fluids, suitable for very large viscosity range. Their smooth pumping action makes these pumps suitable for shear sensitive fluids
- Unsuitable for high temperatures, fluid must be compatible with elastomers so unsuitable for strong chemicals etc. Unsuitable for dry running, pumps have a high starting torque. Sharp solids will damage the stator. Stators will harden and distort with age

VERDER AIR OPERATED, DOUBLE-DIAPRAGM PUMPS
- Self-priming, discharge pressures to 8bar, suitable for abrasive fluids, suitable for large viscosity range. Pumping action suitable for shear sensitive fluids. Intrinsically safe also pumps can be submerged using exhaust air hose. Pumps can dry run.
- Unsuitable for high temperatures, fluid must be compatible with elastomers so unsuitable for strong chemicals etc. Pulsed output is unsuitable for many applications. Pumps are expensive to run due to cost of compressed air
